Had a most wonderful time at the retreat- much needed time away from the city, under a blanket of beautiful stars in a cozy, welcoming, and secluded location. The addition of the event center with games, music options, craft stations, etc was also an amazing extra. Leslie and Daniel were absolute delights, helping us with our check in and familiarizing us with the area. Their recommendations for dining were spectacular!! Overall very satisfied, and cannot wait to return and try out one of the other options to stay in. They were all so cool! The mirror hideaway had a gorgeous view. It was very relaxing and very quiet if u want to reset your mind and life for the weekend I highly recommend. The room was so nice the owner Leslie is soo awesome, I also like where u can go play music and play games at the riviera spot. U have ur own hot tub the add ons are worth it. A beautiful serenity away from the city lights, noise, and stress. Lagom really focuses on connection and peace with this retreat. I stayed in the larger house for a bachelorette and was very impressed with the hospitality and care in every choice throughout the space. A great place to unwind, gaze at the clear night sky, enjoy the hill country landscape, and enjoy your company. My husband, dog, and I stayed here for a long weekend in the Hideaway cabin and it was lovely. The cabin is private and fully equipped to make your stay very comfortable. We purchased the charcuterie board and s'mores kit add-ons and both were great. We met both Leslie and Jan, who are super inviting, accommodating, and responsive! The resort is very tucked away so it's safe, quiet, and serene. It is about 20-30 min from most restaurants so definitely plan in advance for food/meals. We even got to meet a couple of very friendly kitties who live on the property and hung out with us on our patio for a while! We will definitely be back someday!

This place is amazing! I would encourage anyone looking for a little get away to come to Lagom! Close enough to Dripping Springs and other “day tripping”  Hill Country towns-  yet far enough out for peace and quiet and more views and stars than you can count. We found this retreat on an ad on Facebook, read reviews and thought it would be amazing to try out Stargazer. Lagom is truly an amazing experience, unforgettable for sure, we can't wait to go back. The openness is invigorating and the seclusion of the country was so inviting. The perfect blend of small community, country, peaceful and wide openness. So glad we found this treasure. What a relaxing weekend!  We stayed in the mirrored Hideaway cabin and it had everything we needed to unplug and relax from our busy lives.  The amenities were amazing from a spa shower, a full kitchen, super comfortable bedding, a hot tub and fire pit and of course the view of the stars at night! Absolutely stunning property with highly unique and creative cabins. Haven’t seen anything like it. You probably haven’t either. Stayed here for the 4th of July weekend where they had live music and an astronomer who let us take a look at the stars. It is ran by a wonderful family who are so kind and welcoming. What a special time we had at Lagom Retreat! We stayed in Stargazer #1 and it was beyond serene. The stars really are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas, and this is a magical spot to view them. There’s so much thought put into this property, from the layout of the cabins, local touches in the mercantile shop, to the gorgeous landscaping. Our favorite part of the weekend though was spending time in the event hall with Leslie the owner and her amazing sister Jan. They were so welcoming and we loved hearing the origins stories behind the various cabins. If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing and memorable getaway, this is it!

LAGOM Retreat is such a special place! I've had the pleasure of visiting several times now and I can never get over the views. It truly is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden in the Texas hill country. I work with wedding and events, and can absolutely tell you this is a hidden gem especially for a couple looking to have an intimate ceremony or even a bachelorette looking for a relaxing and meaningful getaway. We had the opportunity to spend the weekend at Lagom Retreat, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. What we loved most was how peaceful and quiet it was. You truly can’t hear anything out there, and with no light pollution, the night sky is absolutely amazing. Every cabin has its own unique style and personality, which made the experience feel even more special. We stayed in the Stargazer cabin and loved being able to see the sky right from our bedroom. At night, relaxing in the hot tub on the deck under the stars was hard to beat. One of the coolest parts of the stay was the fireflies. Both nights we saw them glowing and flying over the Stargazer cabin with the incredible backdrop of the night sky. The next evening, they were all around the deck, which made the whole experience feel almost surreal. Then in the mornings, you could hear turkeys calling off in the distance, which added even more to the peaceful Hill Country atmosphere. In the mornings, we walked over to the mercantile shop for coffee and some of the best pastries we’ve had in a long time. The entire property feels thoughtfully designed and unlike anything else we’ve experienced in the Hill Country. During the day, we explored Mercer Street, checked out local distilleries, and enjoyed several great restaurants nearby, which made the weekend even better. Overall, this was a perfect getaway and an easy 5-star experience all the way around. We can’t wait to come back.

I stayed in the stargazer for a quick getaway on my birthday. Staff were very attentive and responsive. I unknowingly booked my trip and there was a pretty scary thunderstorm in the middle of the night. I was staying in an all glass/see through cabin and was offered a new cabin to make me feel safe. Something I didn’t ask for, but very much appreciated. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Hot tub was clean and ready for me. Outdoor shower was amazing.The view and the sunset is so peaceful. I have been raving about this place to anyone and everyone that I come in contact with; social media, friends I see, my waxer, you name it, I probably raved about it to the person. I stayed in the Stargazer, and it was INCREDIBLE. The view was nothing like I'd imagined. I was able to take the most *incredible* photos from the private deck. I didn't run into anyone if I didn't want to. It was all completely private. Photographers: It's the perfect place for Hill Country landscape photography and for boudoir photos. Golden hour at Lagom 👏🏼 hits 👏🏼 different👏🏼. I recommend taking photos on the deck and hot tub during golden hour for the best photos of your life. There's a gate with a code, so access to the property is extremely secure (but don't drive past it; Apple Maps doesn't take you to the entrance. It's slightly before where the GPS wants to take you, so look for the logo on the gate). I felt extremely safe there going by myself. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owners made sure I felt secure and safe as a woman staying in an all glass cabin by myself. They responded to every one of my texts promptly and helped me with any big or small problem I had. The view of the sky was insanely beautiful. It's undiscribale. Sleeping and looking up at the stars was breathtaking, and I wished I'd stayed more than 2 nights. Honestly, I wanted to stay for all eternity there. Everything is well thought out inside the cabin from the towels to the spoons. It's a very comfortable stay, and you can have and make snacks to your hearts content while sleeping on the most luxe bedding in history. Warning though: I wouldn't recommend staying in the Stargazer cabins during the hot months, ya know; Texas summers. The cabin has great A/C, but there's only so much it can do when the entire cabin is essentially glass. There are coverings the owners have put above the cabins to help with the heat, but Texas heat is brutal. I'd recommend staying at one of the other cabins during the summer, or plan to not be inside the Stargazer cabin if you plan on staying there in the summer. The property is BEAUTIFUL. This place is like peaceful, silent, reconnecting, healing magic. I highly, highly recommend staying here if you're looking to reconnect with nature and/or reset your mental and emotional load but in luxurious comfort and A/C. I plan on coming back as often as I can because only after 2 nights it felt like my home away from home 💕

We absolutely loved our stay at Lagom! The views from our front porch and watching the sunset from our hot tub was so peaceful! Our 4 and 6 year olds having the space to roam, scale and play in the rocks, and hot tub, were their favorites. Amenities were excellent and the service was even better. The sweeping Hill Country views are absolutely stunning, with rolling hills that feel peaceful and grounding in the best way. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down and just take it all in. The on-site mercantile is beyond charming—thoughtfully curated with the cutest items, making it impossible to leave without a little something special. Every detail feels intentional and beautifully designed. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the event space. We spent a cozy afternoon playing dominoes and listening to records while it rained outside—such a simple, magical experience that felt straight out of a movie. Our cabin was absolutely adorable. The bedding was incredibly soft and cozy, making it hard to get out of bed in the morning. And the mini kitchenette was such a nice touch—perfect for a relaxed, comfortable stay. Lagom Retreat strikes that rare balance of being both elevated and completely welcoming. I can’t wait to come back. ✨
